Dey family is one of the oldest book sellers in the College Street book hub of Kolkata, West Bengal. Adi Dey Book Store is a very important organ of this Dey family. Two brothers of the new generation of owners of this traditional and mamoth book shop, Tapan Dey and Dipak Dey opened a new publication house under the title Dey Publications in 2007. First effort was only two publications. Now the number of publications have crossed 250. Publication of research oriented books is the speciality of Dey Publications. Alongwith various history and unmasked mysteries of Indian political conspiracies have enriched and added value to this publication house. The house has few titles on historical novels and on world tour and excursions authored by notable authors.
কলকাতার কলেজ স্ট্রিট বইপাড়ার অন্যতম ঐতিহ্যবাহী বই ব্যবসায়ী হল দে পরিবার। এই পরিবারেরই অন্যতম শরিক আদি দে বুক স্টোর। দে পরিবারের অন্যতম কর্তা শ্রীপরেশচন্দ্র দে (মেজদা নামে সমধিক পরিচিত) একদা যে বিখ্যাত এবং বিশাল বই বিপনীর পত্তন করেছিলেন, সেই ঐতিহ্যের পথ ধরেই নব প্রজন্মের দুই ভাই তপন দে ও দীপক দে 2007 সালে প্রকাশন সংস্হা দে পাবলিকেশনস -এর গোড়াপত্তন করেন। হাতেখড়ি হয়েছিল দুটি বই প্রকাশের মধ্য দিয়ে। তিলে তিলে সেই সংখ্যা এখন আড়াইশোরও বেশি। দে পাবলিকেশনসের বিশেষত্ব হল মূলত গবেষণাধর্মী গ্রন্হ প্রকাশ যার মধ্যে আছে যেমন বহু আঞ্চলিক ইতিহাস গ্রন্হ তেমনই রাজনৈতিক ষড়যন্ত্রের অজানা রহস্য গ্রন্হ। ইদানিং দে পাবলিকেশনস কয়েকটি ঐতিহাসিক উপন্যাস ও ভূ-পর্যটন কাহিনীও প্রকাশ করেছে।
